Russia Announces Solidarity Day with the Cuban Five

Moscow, Sep 9 (Prensa Latina) The actions in favour of the liberation
of the Cuban Five will be multiplied in Russia as part of a world
solidarity day, said sources of the solidarity movement with Cuba
Sunday. 

The program includes different actions from September 12 to October 8,
the day for another anniversary of the fall in combat of Ernesto Che
Guevara, said Cuba-Russia Friendship Association president Vadim
Sayuchev. 

During that stage a convoking for a regional solidarity meeting with
Cuba will take place in October. 

In a visit together with the Cuban Ambassador, Jorge Marti, Sayuchev
highlighted the stand and showed interest for Cuban works. 

The book "Poemas Confidenciales" by Antonio Guerrero was highly praised
by Sayuchev, translated to Russian by Vladimir Kazakov and Nadia
Boronkova. 

The struggle for the liberation of the Cuban Five has presided the
Cuban participation for years in this book fair.
