Seychelles Foreign Minister Visits Cuba

Havana, Oct 15 (acn) Seychelles Foreign Affairs and International 
Cooperation Minister, Patrick Georges Pillay, arrived Monday in Havana 
on official visit at the invitation of Cuban Foreign Minister, Felipe 
Perez Roque.

During his visit, which will extend until October 18, Mr. Pillay  will 
head his country's delegation at the 11th Joint Cuban-Seychelles 
Intergovernmental Session on from October 15 to 17 at the Cuban 
Ministry of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation.

The visit is a demonstration of the traditional ties of friendship and 
cooperation between Cuba and this fraternal African country and is part 
of both countries' interest to strengthen and widen bilateral 
relations, reports Granma newspaper.

The distinguished visitor will take part in a wide program of 
activities that includes official talks with his Cuban counterpart, 
meetings with other Cuban leaders, and visits of scientific, economic 
and social interest.
