President Ahmadinejad sends felicitations to Cuba on National Day

(Tehran, Dec 31, IRNA) President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday
expressed felicitations  to [Vice President] Raul Castro, on the
country's National Day, January 1.

In his message, Ahmadinejad expressed hope that Tehran-Havana relations
would promote in the future through strengthened bilateral cooperation.

Fidel Castro is the current president of  Cuba, but due to illness, his
duties have been transferred to his younger brother, 
Raul, who presides the ruling council.
